Enrolment details
St Theresa’s has a maximum roll of 300 students and enrolments are made up of Students with Preference (Students that have a Catholic connection as described by the Bishop Conference) and a 5% allocation of places for Non-Preference Enrolment for those students who can’t get Preference.
School enrolment policy
State integrated schools have places for non-preference students.
Our school has a maximum of 15 places.
1. Non-Preference places criteria:
i. The applicants accept that they will be attending a school of special character and that their place in the school is conditional on their participation in the programme.
ii. The applicants accept that they will be required to pay attendance dues as set by the Proprietor and these are not voluntary.
2. Non-Preference criteria that apply to this school.
i. The siblings of non-preference students already in the school.
ii. Siblings of former non-preference students.
iii. The children of staff or Board members who seek to enrol their children.
iv. Non-preference students coming from another integrated school with the same special character.
Non-preference students who cannot enrol immediately may choose to be placed on a waiting list. Families will be contacted if places become available.

The following documents are required when completing an enrolment:
Birth certificate
Diocese Attendance Dues contract
Immunisation record if applicable
Enrolment form
Baptism certificate (Catholic students)
Visa/Passport (non NZ citizens)

Attendance Dues
The compulsory fee that parents and caregivers legally commit to pay when they enrol their child in a Catholic school. These pay for property and insurance and other related costs. The use of attendance dues is set out in legislation. A proprietor may charge Attendance Dues at a maximum level approved by the Minister of Education.
